How to set up MIMO MagicTouch to work with touch

When you connect the MIMO screen to your Windows 7 machine, by default, the MIMO’s touch events will go to the main screen instead of to the MIMO screen. Fixing that is pretty painless, but is not clear from MIMO’s web page.

Note: You don’t need to install anything for this to work other than the DisplayLink drivers.

Step 1: Run “Tablet PC Settings”

Step 2: Click “Setup”

Step 3: Calibrate

After pressing “Setup”, all your monitors (including the MIMO) will go white – one of them will display some text. Tap “Enter” until the text appears on the MIMO:

Step 4: Tap-Tap revolution!

Once the text appears on the MIMO, tap the screen a few times and the white stuff will go away.

Step 5: Profit! Your touch interactions will now affect the MIMO screen.

Enjoy!
